Honestly this is one area I would splurge on if you can afford to or if you have relatives who want to buy you something/ chip in for something for the baby. We bought the Buggabox Fox (can't remember which variation) in 2022 for our first baby and we've used it pretty much every day since and with our second. It's still in excellent condition. It's very durable and functional and also looks good imo. My lovely sister on the other hand has gone through three prams in the same amount of time t
Bought Fox in 2022, 'used it pretty much every day since and with our second. It's still in excellent condition. It's very durable and functional' — 4+ years daily use, 2 kids, sister went through 3 cheaper prams in same time
It really depends on what your lifestyle is like. We go for daily walks even before a baby so a good pram was essential for us so we spent the money and got a Bugaboo Fox 5 and I absolutely love it. It does take up the whole boot though so I'm looking forward to when she outgrows the bassinet and I'll have a bit more space back. Zero regrets spending on it but there's lots of affordable options too.
'Got a Bugaboo Fox 5 and I absolutely love it...Zero regrets' — daily walks, notes 'it does take up the whole boot' as minor downside
I really love my Bugaboo Fox 5, we bought the travel system from a local pram shop but the same deal was on John Lewis. I really liked going to John Lewis and testing them out. I think there are big pram stores around the UK. We got the Maxi-Cosi 360 car seat with it. Can highly recommend both. Easy to use and both fit in most cars, I have a smaller car than my husband but both fit perfectly.
'I really love my Bugaboo Fox 5' — bought travel system, recommends both pram and Maxi-Cosi car seat, 'easy to use and both fit in most cars' including smaller car
For simple and lightweight I'd consider the Joolz AER. I have it as our travel pushchair and sometimes wish I'd bought the whole travel system. It's very easy to use, lightweight and small. We have the bugaboo fox 5, which is bigger but we do love it. We bought everything else second hand but don't regret spending more on a good pram because we use it every day and it's so important for me to feel I can easily get out of the house with my baby. My baby is now 10m and we have used a pram every
Owns Fox 5, 'we do love it', uses 'every day', 'don't regret spending more on a good pram' — sustained daily use over 10 months, chose to invest despite buying everything else second hand
We have the bugaboo fox 5 and the Joolz AER for travel. We use both all the time and love them for different reasons. No regrets. We bought everything else second hand and all her clothes are from Vinted or hand me downs. What to choose depends so much on lifestyle in my opinion.
Owns Fox 5, uses 'all the time', 'no regrets' — clearly positive, daily use confirms satisfaction, though lacks specific feature detail
We live in the countryside and have a bugaboo fox which works perfectly for rural walks and my son always looks very comfy on it! I absolutely love it but you need a big carboot and it folds in two pieces which can be annoying. We also have a small puschair ABC design I think we use when we travel, for shopping trips or when we go to the city/busier places. Super convenient to have one of those when they get a big older, I would not recommend exactly that one though as my son always seems to be

Book a nursery appointment in John Lewis and try them all out. That's what we did and we were given discount codes valid for a month as well to spend in there. We went with the bugaboo fox 5 which is great but it is huge. Depending where you live it could be a great choice. Especially because it's safe for overnight sleep if you buy the stand for like an extra 150 GBP. It's not a pram for travelling IMO, we got a second hand one smaller for holidays. Factoring being able to fold easily with
'Bugaboo fox 5 which is great but it is huge' — safe for overnight sleep with stand (£150 extra), not for travelling, got second pram for holidays. Positive but honest about size limitations
A lot depends on where you live & how often you'll be in and out of the car. We have the Bugaboo Fox and loved it for the newborn (bassinet) phase, but we live in London and it's sometimes embarrassingly large, particularly on buses, in certain cafes and shops etc. We also have the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 which is fantastic and now she's almost 1 we're using this more and more for everyday. If you aren't using public transport a lot and have a big car boot the Bugaboo Fox is 10/10
Loved it for newborn bassinet phase, rates 10/10 with big boot, but notes it's 'embarrassingly large' on buses and in cafes — positive with significant size caveat
What works for a newborn won't necessarily be the best for an older baby/toddler. I can't comment on the newborn side of things, but I've hired a yoyo for 2 holidays now and it is great for a toddler. For our first holiday, my son was 8 months and I didn't like how reclined it was in its most upright setting; our Bugaboo Fox 2 allows him to be more upright, so we were used to that. It wasn't as much of an issue for our second holiday as my son was nearly 2 and would sit himself up more if he wan
Owns Fox 2, mentions 'our Bugaboo Fox 2 allows him to be more upright' vs Yoyo — specific seating position comparison, but primary comment is about holiday Yoyo use
