Tommee Tippee electric one is great and affordable. I used it for months with no issues.
'Great and affordable', 'months with no issues'. Clear positive endorsement with durability evidence.
Tommee Tippee electric pump is about £40-50 and it's perfectly good for occasional use. I used mine for about 6 months and it never let me down.
'Perfectly good for occasional use', 'never let me down', used for 6 months. Solid endorsement with price point. Context limits it to occasional use.
I'd wait and see. I had a cheap Tommee Tippee electric one which was absolutely fine. A Haakaa is good for catching let down on the other side while baby feeds.
'Absolutely fine' from direct use. Cheap and functional endorsement.
I had a cheap Tommee Tippee electric pump and it was absolutely fine. For bottles I'd recommend Lansinoh - they're designed for breastfed babies and worked really well for us.
'Absolutely fine' - straightforward positive endorsement. Describes it as 'cheap' (positive for value). No complaints from actual use.
I think for it to be double AND wearable you are looking at over £100 unfortunately. I was recommended by the Tommee Tippee double electric pump by the feeding team at the hospital. It's currently £90 on Amazon! It's not handsfree but I only ever pump for 5-10 mins (15 mins max) and can get 120-150 mL of milk - but this amount is obviously related to my own supply and flow rate. If it really must be handsfree you want (and tbh I do wish mine was) then I'd look on Vinted to see what you can fi
Recommended by hospital feeding team, provides specific output numbers (120-150mL in 5-10 mins). Only downside noted is it's not handsfree. Good overall endorsement.
Tommee Tippee pump was fine for me, about £50 on amazon. I only pump occasionally though. MAM bottles worked great for my breastfed baby, took to them immediately.
'Fine for me' with specific price (£50). Positive for occasional use. Direct purchase and use experience.
I had a cheap Tommee Tippee electric pump and it was fine. I only used it occasionally though. If you're going to be using it loads (ie exclusively pumping), then it might be worth spending more. Otherwise I'd go cheap to start with and upgrade if you need to.
'Fine' for occasional use - positive but with the caveat that for EP you might need something more powerful. Honest assessment that limits recommendation to occasional pumpers.
I had a Tommee Tippee electric pump which was fine but I actually found hand expressing into a haakaa much more effective! Just a thought. And MAM bottles were the best for us.
'Fine' but found haakaa 'much more effective'. Damning with faint praise - functional but outperformed by cheaper alternative.
I've got the tommee tippee made for me single and the hand pump. I had to throw away the hand pump because I found it impossible to clean and it wasn't sanitary. Although the made for me works and pumps quite well, the battery stopped charging immediately so it has to be plugged in. I did use for pretty much everyday for a year though. Make sure you have a look in sales because I've seen the made for me in supermarkets for £130 but online for £50.
'Pumps quite well' and used daily for a year (positive durability), but 'battery stopped charging immediately' requiring it to be plugged in. Mixed - works well but has a notable flaw.
Hello! Also a twin mum here. Mine were early so I did a lot of pumping. I managed 18 weeks before it got too much. (Neither of mine were able to breastfeed so that contributed to having to stop earlier than I'd hoped.) I had a Medela Symphony rented from the hospital, which was good but it chains you to the wall. So I bought an Elvie, which I loved. I did a detailed review on it for another sub, if you are interested it's in my post history. DO NOT get the Tommee Tippee unless you want your n
'DO NOT get the Tommee Tippee unless you want your n[ipples destroyed]' - strong warning against it from a twin mum who pumped heavily. Explicit negative.
