> Joie Nitro Seconding this. Had the same for years now and bought it (from Toys R Us!) as a "don't mind if it gets damaged" pushchair for airplane travel... but it's still going. Paired with one of those elasticated snooze shades it's great for naps too as it lies almost completely flat.
Owned Joie Nitro for years from Toys R Us as travel pushchair — 'still going'. Lies almost completely flat. Great for naps with snooze shade.
We have the Joie Nitro from Argos - £65. We use this as our cheaper, don't mind if it gets damaged, traveling pushchair. It's survived a several long haul holidays and lots of heavy use. Would recommend.

I used this for a holiday abroad when my baby was 6 months and he got on really well with it. It was super light yet not flimsy and he napped great in it. I have a Silvercross travel system which I love but I use the Joie from time to time as a lighter option. I think it's really good for £50 if OP doesn't want to spend much
Used Joie Nitro for holiday abroad with 6-month-old; 'super light yet not flimsy, napped great in it'. Good lighter alternative to Silver Cross travel system. 'Really good for £50.'
We have an expensive uppababy ridge and I just got the cheap Joie stroller that's £75 and honestly I kinda love it. It's so light and easy to manoeuvre and folds so much smaller than the big one. It's a bit bumpy and probably not the most comfortable but good for short city walks.

It's maybe not the best but I just bought a £50 basic Joie pushchair. Umbrella fold, it's super light. It lives in the car, so if I want to go for a walk I use our Ocarro, if I'm in and out of the car running errands I can use the lightweight one. My 18 month old actually loves it as he can climb in and out himself, even though it seems flimsy we used it on holidays and he had plenty of naps in it.
Bought £50 basic Joie (Nitro); super light, umbrella fold, lives in car. 18-month-old 'loves it' and 'can climb in and out himself'. Had holiday naps in it despite seeming flimsy.
Sun coverage you will need a parasol, but I imagine this is the case with most prams. My child has never complained and slept like a log in there :-) It depends what you want really, if you have a higher budget than you can get something better as it is basic. But, I've found it absolutely fine for the purpose. Nothing worse than buying something expensive and the baggage handlers break it.
Same user follow-up: needs parasol for sun (as with most prams). Child 'slept like a log' in it. Acknowledges 'it is basic' but fine for purpose. Budget-conscious positive.
Yes that's the one! Tbh I hadn't noticed! Maybe it's more noticeable when they get older but my 9 mo still has it on a little tilt and I've not tried putting it all the way up. The basket isn't great tbh, the seat is quite low down so there's not a huge amount of room but easy enough to sling a bag over the handle I suppose.
Same user confirms it's the Nitro; hasn't noticed upright issue with 9mo. Basket 'isn't great' — seat low, not much room.
Honestly NOT the Joie nitro. I got this thinking it would be a compact stroller for us compared to our Ocarro. But no this thing is still huge when folded in my opinion. Wish I'd got something else!!
Bought Nitro expecting compact alternative to Ocarro. 'This thing is still huge when folded in my opinion. Wish I'd got something else!'
