I absolutely fucking love our Bugaboo Butterfly!! I use it more than our Oyster now for just daily walks, if we're going somewhere with gravel and bumpier roads then I wouldn't use it, but we got it for travel as well and I am so pleased with it. And it looks great! Oh and the storage underneath is really good too, very spacious and it folds and unfolds in literal seconds using just one hand.
Uses Butterfly more than Oyster for daily walks. 'Spacious' storage underneath. 'Folds and unfolds in literal seconds using just one hand.' Emphatic enthusiasm.
Bugaboo butterfly has been worth every penny for us - there are some available 2nd hand on Facebook. We had an umbrella fold but the butterfly is incredible compared and doesn't tip over when loaded. Good luck
Butterfly 'worth every penny'. Previously had umbrella fold; Butterfly is 'incredible compared and doesn't tip over when loaded'. Stability as key advantage.
Can not rave about our butterfly enough. I can't physically carry my daughter for long intervals. So we took the money and bought the butterfly and travelling is a breeze! We fly regularly and so far we had no issues whatsoever.
Can't rave enough about Butterfly. Bought because can't physically carry daughter — 'travelling is a breeze'. Flies regularly with no issues.
That's what we did as well. We wanted to make sure that we like it enough to warrant the cost, it took us about 3 days to know we were buying one. I prefer it over the YOYO as I find the folding mechanism too fiddly and the little bars under the seating make storage room ridiculously small. The bugaboo butterfly easily fits my huge "all events considered" nappy bag.
Hired then bought Butterfly; prefers it over YoYo — 'folding mechanism too fiddly' on YoYo and 'ridiculously small' storage. Butterfly 'easily fits my huge nappy bag'.
Can't recommend the Bugaboo Butterfly enough. Compact, lightweight, folds easily. But surprisingly robust and good on different surfaces.
Can't recommend Butterfly enough — 'compact, lightweight, folds easily. But surprisingly robust and good on different surfaces.'
Another for Bugaboo Butterfly! Easy fold with one hand, robust but still compact to go as cabin luggage.
Recommends Butterfly — 'easy fold with one hand, robust but still compact to go as cabin luggage'. Had it 2.5 years, still working great.
We have a bugaboo butterfly and it's amazing, ing. My brother went for the yoyo as you can buy a bassinet for it but you might not need that
Owns Bugaboo Butterfly; calls it 'amazing'. Brother chose YoYo for bassinet option, implying Butterfly lacks that.
We have the bugaboo butterfly and love it! Top/canopy unzips for more sun protection, Fits in hand luggage, Toddler fits comfortably in it, Easy to clean. Only con is that it's £400 but having tried other lightweight prams I think it's worth the price.
Owns Butterfly; cites unzipping canopy for sun protection, hand luggage fit, toddler comfort, easy cleaning. Only con: £400 price 'but worth the price' after trying others.
Agree! Very expensive but rides like a dream, so great for holidays and works through to 22kg!
Owns Butterfly; 'rides like a dream'. Great for holidays. Works through to 22kg weight limit.
I had a bugaboo butterfly and loved it! I was gutted when LO sized out of it at 22kg.
Had Butterfly and 'loved it'. 'Gutted when LO sized out of it at 22kg' — positive but notes weight limit was reached.
bugaboo butterfly. It's not cheap, but folds small enough to take on as hand luggage.
Owns Butterfly; 'not cheap, but folds small enough to take on as hand luggage'. Concise positive endorsement.
We got a 2nd hand Bugaboo butterfly off Gumtree for around £100, fits into the overhead locker of any airplane would recommend
Got secondhand Butterfly on Gumtree for ~£100; 'fits into the overhead locker of any airplane'. Recommends.
We hired a bugaboo butterfly from Baboodle when we went to Canada with a transfer at Heathrow. Thoroughly recommend both Baboodle and the Butterfly. Think it was about £60 for a month. They do also have the YOYO and Joolz which you can hire for a shorter time. The stroller was brand new, delivery and return process was super easy!
Hired Butterfly from Baboodle for Canada trip via Heathrow; about £60/month. 'Thoroughly recommend both Baboodle and the Butterfly.'
Bugaboo butterfly is good, I have the vista and the butterfly - I use the vista for properly bumpy stuff but the butterfly holds up well!
Owns Vista and Butterfly; uses Vista for 'properly bumpy stuff' but 'butterfly holds up well'. Direct comparison validates quality.
We swapped to a bugaboo butterfly when LO was around 1. Much easier to carry or put somewhere when they're walking around places.
Swapped to Butterfly when LO was ~1. 'Much easier to carry or put somewhere when they're walking around places.'
Second the butterfly! Plus now that the V2 is out the older models are super cheap on marketplace, we got a basically brand new one for a steal!
Seconds Butterfly; got older model 'super cheap on marketplace' now that V2 is out. 'Basically brand new for a steal.'
We used a Bugaboo Butterfly from 6 months to 3 years +.
Used Bugaboo Butterfly from 6 months to 3+ years — long-term positive use case.
Agree I love ours too. We bought it when the LO was 12 months old and it's been great. It's not so good for muddy walks etc so we have a running buggy for that
Bought at 12 months, been great. 'Not so good for muddy walks' — uses running buggy for that. Honest caveat with positive overall.
We hired the Bugaboo butterfly last year from Baboodle. It was about £60 to hire for the month but I think for some of the other prams you could hire for a shorter time. We really liked the butterfly
Hired Butterfly from Baboodle for £60/month. 'Really liked the butterfly.' Budget-conscious recommendation.
