We have the tomee tippie UV steriliser and would highly recommend it. It sterilises the bottles, dries and stores the bottles. Whereas friends with steam talk of still needing to dry out the bottles which seems a faff trying to keep very clean tea towels or air drying space. After we bought ours, we've had multiple friends buy one too on recommendation.
"Highly recommend" — sterilises, dries, and stores. Direct comparison to steam (which requires separate drying). Multiple friends bought on their recommendation.
We've got a Tommee Tippee UV steriliser and love it. It's so easy to use, zero faff at all.
"Love it" and "zero faff" — strong positive. Direct owner experience.
I have the tommee tippee UV steriliser and I'm very happy with it. It's easy to use, sterilises in 10 minutes and dries and sterilises in 35. It's also got a function to keep items sterile. I'm using it with the 330ml MAM bottles and one load takes three bottles and couple of dummies. I'd recommend it.
"Very happy with it" — specific cycle times (10 min sterilise, 35 min dry+sterilise), capacity (3 bottles + dummies), keep-sterile function. Strong recommendation.
We've got the Tommee Tippee steridryer, it's been great, 5 min steam cycle and 30 mins dry cycle. We also have the TT perfect prep day and night machine, v convenient to have for those early hours formula feeds. Both of these we picked up second hand, gave a good clean and recommend both. Defo recommend the MAM bottles also - these we picked up new from prime day sales.
"It's been great" -- specific cycle times (5 min steam, 30 min dry). Recommends it to others. Good value even second hand.
Hey, we went with the tommy timmee UV steriliser and I loved it. Its big and really easy to use. It drys all the components as well. So glad we're done with that phase. The washing and sterilising is a never-ending ballache. The steriliser made it slightly less tedious
"Loved it" — big, easy to use, dries all components. Honest: sterilising is still tedious but the UV steriliser helped. Past tense suggests completed use.
I have the Tommy Tippee UV steriliser and I love it. Fits 5 bottles (I use Mam ones) - sterilises, dries and stores them. Only minor downsides are that the full cycle takes an hour so you need to time things right, and that the UV light makes the bottles a yellowy looking.
"Love it" — fits 5 MAM bottles, sterilises/dries/stores. Two specific downsides: full cycle takes 1 hour, UV yellows bottles. Positive with honest caveats.
Have 16mo. We wash and sterilise bottles after every use. Except I got fed up and bought six bottles in the end. So have to wash and sterilise twice a day. I use the tommee tippee UV dryer/steriliser. Can cram three bottles in one go.
Uses TT UV steriliser at 16 months — long-term user. Specific: fits 3 bottles per load, used twice daily. Positive but practical rather than enthusiastic.
UV steriliser. We have a Minbie one. We had the Tommee Tippee, steri-dryer and super steam as the first two but they both had problems like the plate burning or leaks so we returned them. Never had problems with the UV steriliser.
Owned the TT Steri-dryer -- returned it due to plate burning and leaks. Specific hardware defects. Switched to a different brand's UV steriliser which worked without problems.
