Omg you will never use the couch or bed 😅 babies always pee on the change pad and if its a wipeable pad its going to run off onto whatever surface u are on. When i use my portable mat at someone's house, i always do it on the hardwood floor for this reason. I use my Leander mat (bought used off fb marketplace) religiously. Its the BEST. I love changing baby at dresser height and we have the best conversation and laughs while she is on her change pad. I don't understand why people would not want
Uses it 'religiously', calls it 'the BEST' — bought secondhand, loves the experience of changing at dresser height. Enthusiastic daily user
Not sure about the henlee but i have seen the babyhood one at their main store. It looks really good and almost identical (except the shape) to the one i have (leander matty) which is so amazing i can't fault it. Sturdy, easy to clean, comfortable, mobile, looks nice too. For my travel one i got one from baby bare online it is very big, soft on one side, wipable on the other, easy to throw in the wash.

It's expensive but we have two Leander mats which I looooove. Two babies now and both look good as new. You can usually get one second hand for about $100 too (we'll sell ours when we're done with them).
Owns two, used for two babies — both still look new. Notes expense but offsets with secondhand value ($100 resale). 'looooove'
We have the Leander Matty, which we love. We bought it secondhand from someone with two babies and it looks as-new. We can then hopefully sell it secondhand for the same or near to what we paid for it, making it ultimately the cheapest and most environmentally friendly choice.
Bought secondhand after 2 babies of use and still looks new — makes value argument that resale makes it cheapest long-term option
I have a Leander mat and I love it. It's so easy to clean, you don't have to worry about having a cover on it, and it's aesthetically really nice too. If you're in NSW there is a change mat in the hospital bag that's decent quality!
Easy to clean, no cover needed, aesthetically pleasing — simple praise with specific practical benefits
Throwing out there the Leander Matty Change mat. It is wipeable and soft/foam-like for baby. To prevent the cold feeling and make cleanup easier, I wrap it with some large cloths I was given by just tucking it under the edges. If there is an accident, then it is easy to remove, give a quick wipe and put another cloth on.
Owns it, describes material as wipeable and soft/foam-like. Uses cloths to prevent cold feeling — easy cleanup system
