So I have 1 tula free to grow, 1 Tula explore, 1 ring sling and a lennylamb onbuhimo carrier. I would say I do really love my Tula explore because of the sturdiness and the many ways I can carry my LO (front carry, back carry, front facing carry). My husband also uses the explore and we travelled a lot with it. I do also like my onbuhimo next because I'm currently pregnant right now and don't feel comfortable using a waistband carrier!
'Really love' for sturdiness and versatility (3 carry modes); husband uses it too, traveled a lot with it; practical family workhorse
I have a Tula Explore that I used with my first (born 2020) and am currently using with my second (born February 2025). It's held up very well and I'm pleased with how versatile it is!
Used across 5 years with two children; 'held up very well', 'versatile'; demonstrates exceptional durability
We just got a Tula Explorer and are loving it. My husband is 6'5" and stocky, and options that would fit him were limited (the two main ones were what we got and H&P). We went with Tula because it was more budget friendly, so if it didn't work (for us or baby) it wasn't as much money spent (bought a sale one too).
'Loving it'; fits 6'5" stocky husband when options were limited; budget-friendly; practical success for large-frame wearers
We have the ergobaby Omni 360, boba bliss, a ring sling, and the Tula explore. My husband and I both like the Tula best. The boba was nice at first but by 2 months, it was too stretchy to provide enough support. We like the ergobaby but the Tula is like a less bulky version and we find it more comfortable.
Preferred over Ergobaby Omni 360 and Boba Bliss; 'like a less bulky version' of Ergobaby, more comfortable; best of 4 carriers owned
I used my Tula explorer TONS all through the first year. Now that we are in the toddler years I'm using my ring sling and woven wrap on a semi regular basis.
Used 'TONS all through the first year'; transitioned to other carriers for toddler stage — strong positive for first year
Used tula explore for both my babies... never tried any other brand so i cant compare.
Used for two babies showing satisfaction, though acknowledges no comparison point; implied positive through repeat use
I have a Tula Explore (and a Tula lite as it was BOGO when I bought it). It's comfy although can be a bit of a contortionist act to get it strapped. Baby hated it at first but now he's getting used to it (he's 10w/14 lbs). I like that it can forward face in the future.
Comfy but 'contortionist act to get strapped'; baby initially hated it; likes forward-facing option; positive with notable caveats about ease of use
I have a wildbird aerial which I love. My first baby easily fell asleep in it and it was super comfortable for both of us. It only faced in though so I did buy a second carrier cause once my boy hit 7 months he wanted to forward face out a lot. I ended up getting a Tula explore which my and my boyfriend used comfortably for months. Our biggest gripe was the fabric wasn't super soft and it did end up Molding in storage (I live in a super wet/humid area) we did notice it could be hot sometimes wi
Used comfortably for months but specific negatives: fabric not super soft, molded in humid storage, could be hot; mixed experience with notable downsides
