We LOVE our Cybex Callisto G 360! Installation was super easy - used the seatbelt and the tether. We did not get the install inspected by a CPST because I felt confident about it, but we did meet with one to look at the install and learn about buckling baby in to his bucket seat. I would totally recommend it, especially if you have anxiety! It was free through a local hospital near me I would absolutely recommend a rotating car seat, I know a ton of people also really like the EvenFlo one. My
LOVES it; praises super easy installation (seatbelt + tether); felt confident enough to not need CPST inspection; recommends for anxious parents.
Infant seat - Nuna Pipa Aire Rx - lasted us past 12 months, switched when baby was close ~30 inches tall. Loved it!! So light and comfortable (I assume lol). It was worth it to have the infant seat to be able to take her out of the car and into places while still being in the seat. Convertible - Cybex Callisto G 360 - switched to this after the Nuna and it is sooo well made and sturdy. I love it. So easy to put baby in since it rotates (must have for a tall vehicle imo). And the straps are amaz
Loves it; praises build quality ('sooo well made and sturdy'), rotation for tall vehicle, and amazing straps; switched from Nuna Pipa infant seat.
We have the cybex sirona s and i love it!! As well as all of the things people have mentioned above, I'll offer a perspective that i haven't seen yet- there have been MULTIPLE times when someone parks to close to me on the car seat side and I have no problem using the other side of the car and rotating the car seat to face me that way. Super helpful!
Loves it; unique use case of loading from either side when parked in tight spots; enthusiastic recommendation.
Yes π π π If it's in the budget, we love ours. Cybex sirona S is what we have. Have used a nuna rava too and it just doesn't compare.
Loves it; directly compares to Nuna Rava and says Rava 'doesn't compare' - strong preference for the Cybex.
Just switched to cybex Callisto G 360 after my little one outgrew the Nuna pipa! This is the wayyy π«ΆπΌ
Enthusiastic about the switch from Nuna Pipa; 'this is the wayyy' indicates strong satisfaction with the upgrade.
I love the Cybex rotating one. My 4yo is still able to fit rear facing in it.
Loves it; 4-year-old still fits rear-facing, demonstrating excellent longevity for extended rear-facing.
We love the cybex rotating seat. We also transitioned out of the infant seat at around six months. My now almost 3yo (comfortably wearing 4/5T clothes) still fits comfortably in the cybex seat. For car seats, I believe height is the more limiting factor. Our son has gotten so tall but only weighs 34lbs. He was close to 20lbs at his 4 month visit. He really started thinning out between 1 and 2 and barely gained weight. He was 30lbs at his 2yo checkup and in 8 months he's only gained 4lbs. He'
Loves it; nearly 3-year-old in 4/5T clothing still fits comfortably; detailed child growth data shows seat accommodates large/tall children.
We ended up going with the Cybex Callisto G 360 cause it's an all in one and goes up to 120 pound booster seat, expensive but worth the cost for something that's going to last until he no longer needs it. For reference my son is 6 months and 22 pounds! My daughter has the Nuna Rava, but with how heavy my son is we wanted a 360 car seat so we aren't breaking our backs getting him in and out of the car.
Chose for all-in-one capability (up to 120lb booster); worth the cost for longevity; rotation essential for heavy 6-month-old (22lbs).
