We went with a momcozy baby monitor. Used it for about 10 months now and it has never failed us. We have 2 kids in different rooms, so we have 2 cams connected with the parent unit. We do like its split screen design, so we can check both cams at the same time.
'Never failed us'; 10 months of use; specific: 2 cameras for 2 kids, split screen for simultaneous viewing
You might want to focus on features like night vision, screen resolution, and audio quality. For me, no WiFi was really important, so I went with the Momcozy BM01, and it's been great!
'It's been great!'; specific model BM01; chose for non-WiFi, night vision, screen resolution, audio quality
We went with the Momcozy nonwifi baby monitor, and it's been great for us. Clear picture, easy to setup, and the night vision is good too. Check it out – might be what you're looking for.
'Been great for us'; specific: clear picture, easy setup, good night vision
We use the momcozy baby monitor and it's a good choice. The video is super clear, both day and night. Though the internet signal is not very stable for the area, thanks to the nonwifi design, the connection has never been an issue for us, no lagging or delay at all.
'Good choice'; specific: 'super clear' video day and night, non-wifi so no connection issues despite unstable local internet
We have both Nanit & the momcozy non WiFi. I got freaked out from all the hacker stories w/ WiFi monitors. The momcozy has been great but we didn't have issues with Nanit either. The only thing I don't like about Nanit is that it's on your phone so sometimes it can be annoying to have the sound/video on if using your phone.
'Momcozy has been great'; owns both Nanit and Momcozy; prefers Momcozy's non-WiFi approach over phone-based Nanit
We have the momcozy one. The design is simple but basically could meet all our needs: can pan-and-tilt remotely, can pick up the sound clearly and can zoom in 4x max, just the way we want.
'Meet all our needs'; specific: remote pan-and-tilt, clear sound, 4x zoom
I have the Momcozy one and like it so far. You can do split screen with up different cameras (up to 4). It has a good size screen on the monitor. I similarly didn't want a wifi one or one I had to use my phone and this one has been great.
'Like it so far', 'has been great'; specific: split screen up to 4 cameras, good size screen, non-wifi
We have the Momcozy and it works pretty well. It has a dedicated screen which is simple to operate and seems reliable. You can also hook it up to the internet to access through an app on your phone. We rarely use the phone app but it's nice to have the option if you can find the screen thing in the house
'Works pretty well', 'seems reliable'; specific: dedicated screen plus optional internet/app; practical concern about finding the screen
Do not buy Momcozy stuff. My wife and I liked the design of their bottle washer and their baby monitor. Though I replaced the inside with a new part, the bottle washer had plastic disintegrating. The monitor's battery expanded and the unit is busted. WiFi monitoring still works. Both lasted under a year. I'm pretty sure it's just international junk rebranded with the mom cozy name
'Do not buy Momcozy stuff'; battery expanded, unit busted under a year; 'international junk rebranded'; warns others
