We have the Ergobaby Metro plus. Traveled with my baby in a 20 hour flight with a 2 hour layover. It was lightweight and comfortable enough for me to carry on my own with my 3 month old as my husband wasn't travelling with us. Plus it has a complete recline feature for newborns. Also used it as a primary stroller during the same vacation and bub seems to enjoy it! Oh, also…overhead bin compatible!
Extensive real-world test (20-hour flight solo with infant). Multiple positive features noted: lightweight, newborn recline, overhead compatible, works as primary stroller.
Ergobaby Metro plus. It's amazing! We just did Ireland with it.
Enthusiastic ('amazing!') with international travel testing in Ireland.
Ergobaby metro has been great for us. We have used it on several trips- planes and trains, Europe, Vancouver, Montreal, Halifax, Florida, Mexico… it's now out daily driver. Has a ride along board you can purchase which is GREAT for airports with two kids under 5. I don't know what I'll do when my oldest grows out of it, it's so handy!
Extensive travel testing across many destinations. Now daily driver. Enthusiastic about ride-along board accessory for two kids. Strong attachment ('don't know what I'll do').
I have the metro+ (precursor to metro 3) and love it. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the 2 hand fold, but I know they changed that for the metro 3! My 22 month old is still very comfortable in it. I have never actually put it in an overhead bin, just gate checked it.
Strong positive sentiment ('love it') with extensive travel use across three continents. Minor fold complaint addressed in newer version. Long-term satisfaction (22 months).
Love our ergo baby metro +. Took it to the uk last year and will be taking it to Portugal in July!
Love expressed with multiple international trips (UK, upcoming Portugal), showing confidence for repeat use.
I have taken my Ergobaby metro+ on 3 plane trips within Canada, to Mexico, and Ireland. I love it. There's a new version, the metro 3.
Extensive travel testing (6 trips across 3 countries). Love expressed with helpfully noting newer version available.
This brand isn't talked about a lot, but we have the ErgoBaby Metro+. I searched high and low for a compact stroller that would be comfortable for my 6'2" husband. It has adjustable handles, so it's more comfortable for him than our previous stroller (EvenFlo pivot travel system). It retails for $300, but we got it on sale on Black Friday for $200.
Solves specific need for tall parent comfort with adjustable handles. Good value at sale price. Positive upgrade from previous stroller.
Ergobaby metro + -I've taken it all over Europe and North America - the only airline who wouldn't allow me to take it onboard and put it in the overheads was Ryan air!
Extensive international travel experience with mostly successful overhead bin use. Only one airline issue in extensive testing.
My 10mo old is similar and we use the ergobaby metro+. He seems very comfy when it's fully reclined and it has a great canopy and adjustable footrest. We got it when he was younger and when we thought he was more of an 80% percentile kid not an off the charts kid so I'm not sure of how it will do in the next year since I didn't look into it but as of right now we're really happy with it.
Works well for large baby (10 months). Positive about comfort, canopy, adjustable footrest. Some uncertainty about future use but currently happy.
I have the ergobaby Metro+ as my travel stroller and have been happy with it. It folds up compact enough to place in a airplane cabin. Also fits in a car footwell, which is nice.
Happy with purchase. Specific praise for cabin storage and car footwell fit.
I've come to the conclusion that the Joolz and Minu are the best. I feel like the Ergo Metro 3 is very similar to the Minu and a good bit cheaper
Positive comparison to premium Minu with significant price advantage. 'Very similar' suggests comparable quality at lower cost.
