I absolutely love my babysense monitor. The resolution is great and we got it with two cameras so when baby number two comes we will have one screen to watch them both.
'Absolutely love'; great resolution; two cameras for future second baby on one screen
We have a BabySense non-wifi video monitor. Very similar to the Infant Optics one in terms of price and quality! We have never had an issue and battery life on the monitor itself has been fantastic. We have 2 cameras so I don't have to unmount the one in the nursery for travel, which is convenient. It's easy for grandparents and babysitters to navigate.
'Never had an issue', 'fantastic' battery life; specific: 2 cameras for home and travel, easy for grandparents/babysitters
I have the Babysense; been using it 14 months and it's great. I'm due with #2 in July so I'll be sticking with it since the split screen is a feature I wanted. https://a.co/d/7uAIral
'Been using it 14 months and it's great'; sticking with it for second child; values split screen
We have the babysense. No WiFi, two cameras (that can be viewed at the same time if you have more than one baby). It has never disconnected on me once. Has good audio and a good clear picture, even at night
'Never disconnected on me once'; specific: simultaneous dual camera view, good audio, clear picture at night
We have the Babysense Maxview—it's RF so no WiFi or app but it's crystal clear and light/easy to use with no concerns about security.
'Crystal clear and light/easy to use'; specific model Maxview; RF with no security concerns
I have the babysense monitor and it's wireless too. Love that because I wasn't comfortable with the Nanit being on an app. Also I have traveled with it plenty of times and it's worth its weight.
'Love that'; specific: wireless, portable for travel, preferred over Nanit's app-based approach
I've got the babysense monitor & the owlet. I like the babysense best. Clear picture, gives temperature readings, night light, can talk to my son through it & it plays music. It has a separate monitor that can show multiple cameras, great when I have another lo one day. The owlet is good but it's via a phone app which I don't like.
'Like the babysense best' over Owlet; specific: clear picture, temperature, night light, two-way talk, music, multi-camera, separate monitor
[Babysense Monitor](https://a.co/d/g65vV3u) We have used this one with our two kids. Really nice to have two cameras on at the same time. Looks like it's 30 dollars off right now too with a coupon.
Used with two kids; specific: two simultaneous cameras; actively recommending (noting discount)
I got the Babysense Max View 5.5" Split Screen Full HD 1080p Video Baby Monitor and have been quite happy with it. I wanted something not connected to the internet, and I wanted a dedicated device (and battery) for the monitor instead of having to use an app on my phone. I've been impressed with the night vision video quality, and actually quite like the built-in night light functionality. My one minor complaint is the lowest backlight brightness setting is still pretty bright in the middle of
'Quite happy'; impressed with night vision; specific model 5.5" Split Screen Full HD 1080p; minor complaint about minimum backlight brightness
We have a Babysense Maxview Pro. Having a separate monitor from your phone is essential. When they're young, it's a useful relay baton between parents. As they're older, we mostly use the audio feature left on at night in our bedroom then check camera if something's up. They're reasonably secure (I have a software background and talked with the company a bit before buying—also we live in a city so lotta people nearby on radio waves) and quicker to glance at than phone based monitoring. I have
Specific model Maxview Pro; software background vetted security; 'relay baton between parents'; quicker than phone; evolving use-case over time
We've got a babysense. No app. We have 2 cameras (one downstairs and one upstairs) and one monitor. The cameras need to be plugged in but I'm finding them quite good, and the monitor has a good range around the house. You can hear the baby and you can also talk to them. Nice but not needed functions are music or white noise and it also gives you the temp of the room.
'Finding them quite good'; specific: 2 cameras (upstairs/downstairs), good range, two-way talk, temp reading, music/white noise
I have the Babysense Maxview. It's been pretty good for us, no wifi, but still great range. Our neighbors have one as well and have tested the range by coming over to our house and still being able to access the cameras.
'Pretty good for us'; specific model Maxview; great range tested to neighbor's house
We have a Babysense monitor because I didn't want it to need my phone or wifi either. It came with two cameras and we got a third. I will say the split screen is divided between cameras 1&2 and cameras 3&4. You can't split screen between say cameras 2&3 or 1&4. But you can go from split 1/2 to split 3/4 very easy. I don't know if it's the BEST but my husband did the research and he's into tech as well as into cyber security, so I'm pretty confident in his choice.
Owns 3 cameras; specific split-screen limitation noted (1&2 or 3&4 only); husband with cybersecurity background chose it; overall positive
We wanted the same and ended up with the babysense ones that everyone is recommending. Overall, I'm happy with them, but I have 2 complaints: - The temperature sensor consistently reads the room at 3°F colder than it actually is and the thing has an alarm that triggers when the room is too cold. This is true of both cameras, in the nursery and our own bedroom. - While you can add extra cameras to the system (up to 4) you can't add a second monitor. This wasn't a huge deal breaker for us, but i
'Overall, I'm happy'; two specific complaints: temperature reads 3F cold with annoying alarm, can't add second monitor; net positive with noted issues
