I had a ring sling and a wrap carrier for my first, and while I loved the wrap, it really could be a pain to do on/off constantly. I got an ergo 360 when he was about 10 months old because I was 4 months pregnant with my second and needed something easier to put him on my back. I LOVED it. I ended up using only it with my second. It lasts for multiple sizes, had a sunshade if needed, could be worn on back, front, or hip, and had a little slot for my phone and keys.
'I LOVED it' — used exclusively with second child, specific features praised: multiple carry positions, phone/key slot, sunshade, lasts multiple sizes; enthusiastic with detailed reasoning
I have the Happy Baby and it was not supportive enough for me. I can only wear for about 45 minutes before my back starts hurting. Conversely, I can wear the Ergobaby Omni 360 for hours on end indoors or outside without pain, especially in a back carry. My almost 20lb baby feels like nothing. And when you fold it down and use the waist belt to cinch it down, it gets pretty small. I love it, and it's our go-to for long days and hiking. I'm in Tx and it's fairly cool, but if I had it over again, I
'Hours on end without pain', '20lb baby feels like nothing', 'go-to for long days and hiking'; direct comparison shows superiority over Happy Baby for support
I absolutely love my ergobaby omni. Its the only carrier that doesn't hurt my back and i can use it for long periods of time. Ive tried other carriers but always come back to this one. Its not the cutest or trendiest but for me its been my favorite.
'Absolutely love', 'only carrier that doesn't hurt my back', tried others but always returns; prioritizes function over aesthetics
I didn't use mine a ton with my first, I preferred the stroller. It was nice for things like farms, festivals, places with lots of stairs. I'm using it a LOT with my second—I live in Japan and it's much easier to wear baby 2 vs being the American w the huge double I got an ergo baby 360 breeze when my eldest hit 20 lbs and I love it! It does need an insert for little babies, but had I known about it, I probably would've opted for it as my one and only carrier! It has great lumbar support compar
'I love it', 'would've opted for it as my one and only carrier', great lumbar support; uses daily in Japan, specific use cases (farms, festivals, stairs)
We really love the Omni 360. Originally picked it because it was recommended for better back support. It's nice though because both myself or my husband can use the same one. Our baby also seems very comfortable in it. You can sometimes get deals on it on amazon. I also have a rebozo that is nice for just a quick carry.. it is easy to fold up and throw in a bag for when we are on a walk and he doesn't want to stay in the stroller. It supports him better than the hip carrier things and I can go
'Really love' it, chose for back support, shareable between spouses, baby comfortable; multiple specific practical benefits cited
It was worth it for me. Mine got used frequently with both of my babies. Ergo omni was my favorite actually. I had some wraps and the ergo embrace too, but the Omni was the most comfy. I got mine on Amazon 'open box' for a lot cheaper and it was actually new with tags.
'Favorite' among wraps and Embrace; 'most comfy', used frequently with two babies; clear preference with longevity evidence
We use the ergo baby Omni carrier and it has been great!
'Has been great' — active present tense use indicates ongoing satisfaction
I also loved the Ergobaby Embrace, and that's why I bought the ergobaby omni breeze and I'm loving it so far
Graduated from Embrace to Omni Breeze based on positive Embrace experience; 'loving it so far' indicates current active satisfaction
I have the ergo baby omni breeze. It's great! Don't get a baby björn one. They're terrible!
'It's great!' — owns it and rates it highly, contrasts favorably against Baby Bjorn; brief but clear endorsement
I go to a lot of baby groups and I notice Tula and ergo baby are the most popular. I have the Ergobaby Omni Breeze and I love it.
'I love it' with observational context that Ergobaby is among the most popular at baby groups; direct ownership and satisfaction
Aerial was a disappointment to me personally because the crossover design put uneven pressure on my shoulders and if you try to wear it in backpack mode while baby is in the front the straps are sewed in such a way that it digs in because they're slanted. I ended up selling mine because neither I nor my husband wanted to use it. It sure is pretty though! My favorite is my Ergo Omni 360 fwiw 🤷🏻♀️
'My favorite' — chosen over Wildbird Aerial which was sold; clear preference after trying alternatives
I'm a fan of the omni breeze!
Highly upvoted (88) 'fan' endorsement; while brief, the high community agreement signals strong sentiment. Score tempered by lack of specific detail in the comment itself
My ergo baby Omni breeze is still comfortable with my almost 2 year old!
Still comfortable at almost 2 years old — demonstrates longevity and continued comfort with a heavier toddler
I did the Ka'tan wrap while my baby was a newborn, and ergobaby Omni 360 as he got older. The Ka'tan is great, I didn't have to learn how to tie anything, it was fool proof. And the ergobaby Omni 360 has also been great.
'Has also been great' for older baby stage; uses it as the follow-up carrier after outgrowing Ka'tan wrap
I loved my ergo embrace. I was fortunate to try a hope and plum lark for a month and sadly, I did not find it to be that supportive. I had my waist band as tight as it would go and proper fit per my babywearing certified expert but it still killed my back. I had been gifted an ergo omni 360. Is it bulkier? Yes. But I can wear my baby for an hour easy and have no pain.
Acknowledges bulkiness but can wear baby for an hour with no pain; honest trade-off assessment favoring support over aesthetics
Ergobaby omni, it's useful for a long time so we went with that one
Chose it specifically for longevity; 'useful for a long time' is the key deciding factor; practical positive
I like ergobaby carriers! I got an omni on fb marketplace for about $40. Used carriers are often great value if you're on a budget
Owns it (bought used for $40), likes it; practical budget-conscious endorsement
I hate how it looks, but it's so comfortable - Ergobaby omni. My 21lb boy naps in this carrier and it doesn't kill my back. When he was a newborn we used the Ergobaby Embrace, super soft and comfy too
Honest: 'hate how it looks' but 'so comfortable', 21lb boy naps in it without back pain; positive with aesthetic caveat
Carrier preferences are highly personal, but I like my Chimparoo Mei Tei for everyday use, the Ergo Baby Omni 360 for when I need to put baby on my back and get a bunch of chores done, and my Ergo Baby Lift hip seat for just running in and out of places quickly doing errands. I didn't love the ring sling, it's very fickle and, worn incorrectly, is unsafe. But some folks swear by it.
Uses Omni 360 specifically for back carry and chores; practical positive endorsement within a multi-carrier rotation
I like my Boba wrap a lot, and also have an ergobaby Omni breeze for when he's older. I would suggest not doing the baby bjorn because it doesn't promote good hip health. I've never looked at it, but I know people suggest the subreddit /r/babywearing for advice!
Owns it for when baby is older alongside Boba wrap for newborn phase; recommends against Baby Bjorn, implicitly endorsing Ergobaby's hip health approach
We went with the Ergobaby Omni Breeze, because Ergobaby is the mainstream choice where we live. But honestly there are so many good full-buckle carriers.
Chose it but hedges with 'there are so many good full-buckle carriers'; tepid endorsement based on mainstream availability rather than superiority
I have had three and my favorite by far has been the Mabe Monarch! It's very comfortable, I love the way it clips in the back, super easy to put on by myself, is really cute, and a great price!! I think they are still a relatively small brand compared to others but we looooove ours. Their customer service is also awesome! The other two I had was the Ergobaby Omni 360 which I absolutely hated (super uncomfortable imo, and hard to put on by myself, baby also found it uncomfortable I assume as he'
'Absolutely hated' the Omni 360: 'super uncomfortable', 'hard to put on by myself', baby also found it uncomfortable and screamed; strongly negative direct experience
