Love the Abiie highchair. Keeps the baby in 90-90-90 posture, fully adjustable and super easy to clean. I have a messy eater who practically ate her solids off the tray, the dishwasher friendly tray is an added advantage. As LO grows older you can just remove the tray and convert it to a chair.
"Love" it. Specific: 90-90-90 posture, fully adjustable, dishwasher-safe tray, converts to chair. Handles messy eating.
Abiie! I love it. It's been easy to adjust so far, and it seems just as sturdy as my friend's Tripp Trapp, plus easier to clean. After I bought it, I realized that my 6 and 4 year old nieces have (and are still using, without the tray or straps) the same chair, which makes me feel confident ours will hold up. It also has a really small footprint, which was key for us.
"Love it." Compares favorably to Tripp Trapp (as sturdy, easier to clean). Nieces still using at 4 and 6. Small footprint cited.
We love our Abbie! Started at 6 months still using it at 2.5 years because we have a tall table. The shoulder straps were secure enough when he was small and now we just use the lap straps occasionally. I love that the footplate and seat are both adjustable. We didn't always use the plastic cover for the tray, as some suction plates were too wide for it but they stuck to the wooden part of the tray just fine. Definitely worth the cost savings in my opinion!
"Love our Abbie!" 2+ years of use, adjustable footplate/seat, strap flexibility, cost savings vs Stokke. Specific and detailed.
We have the abbiie and love it! It's easy to clean, and most of our suction dishes stick to the plastic tray. The tray is easy to remove, straps are easy to use, and the footprint is reasonable. Our friends have the Stokee; they hate using the straps and nothing sticks to the tray.
"Love it!" Compares to friends' Stokke unfavorably. Specific: suction dishes work, easy tray removal, reasonable footprint.
We have the Abiie Beyond for our twins and have had no issue cleaning it with a washcloth - today we did peanut butter and oatmeal and even that cleaned quickly. My only tip is full coverage baby bibs OVER the straps!
Owns 2 for twins, specific cleaning scenario (PB + oatmeal cleaned quickly with washcloth). Practical tip about bibs over straps.
As someone who had Abiie with first, I wouldn't recommend. It's nice looking, sturdy, and easy to clean, but requires two hands to adjust or remove or insert the tray, and is not supportive for very young babies since it doesn't recline and doesn't have a baby attachment.
"Wouldn't recommend." Specific negatives: two-handed tray adjustment, no recline, no baby attachment. Acknowledges positives (sturdy, easy to clean) but net negative.
