I love my ComfyCubs playpen/gate. It's been perfect for us since we can use it either way and block off a whole room basically or just a play area.
Loves it. Dual functionality highlighted: works as both a playpen and a room-blocking gate. Perfect for us — strong endorsement.
We had a HARPPA and hated it, it started falling apart pretty quickly. We contacted HARPPA, they offered a replacement or refund and we opted for the refund. In our case, the playpen had started to break down as our baby started using it to stand. We had splintering and overall instability. Nothing as egregious as this, but I'm not surprised by their awful quality. We took that refund and then bought a ComfyCubs playpen instead. We like how it can scale, we took the main playpen and added panel
Switched from HARPPA to ComfyCubs after quality issues. Likes the scalability — took main pen and added extension panels. Implicit satisfaction as a replacement choice.
We got the Comfy Cubs brand one instead. Similar price but they emailed me back with all their certification and safety information.
Chose Comfy Cubs as alternative to HARPPA. Highlights responsiveness: company provided certification and safety info on request. Similar price point.
I have the comfy cubs and I bought an LLBean kids flannel sleeping bag to use as the mat. It's not the most granola item ever as it's poly fill and not organic, but it's something she'll be able to use for a long time into the future which fit my granola values. The dimensions were almost perfect for the play yard! Just to put it in perspective, it's been put away since she was about 12-13 months. So the time period where they're lying on the floor and really need that cushion is really short i
Owns it and found creative mat solution (LLBean sleeping bag fits dimensions). Practical insight: put away around 12-13 months. Positive but notes the useful window is relatively short.
