I love the Keekaroo. It's wood, which was important to us. My oldest is 5 and still using his (it converts to a regular chair, like the Stokke).
"Love the Keekaroo." Wood material important to them. 5-year-old still using it. Converts like Stokke.
A good alternative is the Keekaroo! We finally ditched our Tripp Trapp high chair because of the tray and the awful harness (our baby, now 13mo kept getting out of it). We got the Keekaroo (recommended by SIL) because the underside of the tray is flat, it has a plastic cover that is easy to take off and wash, and it has a 3-point lap belt rather than a 5-point harness. You can also keep the tray off and push baby right up to table. We have the infant seat and baby loves sitting in it.
Switched from Tripp Trapp. Specific benefits: flat tray underside, easy-wash plastic cover, 3-point lap belt, table-pull-up. Baby loves it.
I bought a used Keekaroo and have really liked it so far. I also have great peace of mind knowing I spent less than $80 on a high chair!
Bought used for under $80, "really liked it." Cost-conscious positive experience.
We have the Keekaroo high chair, similar to the Abiie and Stokke. If I were to choose, I would go with the Abiie!
Owns Keekaroo but would choose Abiie instead. Neutral-to-mild disappointment — prefers a competitor.
We don't have the Tripp Trapp, but we spent $$$ on the Keekaroo one that is similar. Honestly, I prefer the ikea Antilop we have at our cottage. Maybe the Keekaroo will be better when he gets a little older, but for starting out I would just get the cheap ikea one!
Spent $$$ on Keekaroo but prefers IKEA Antilop for early stage. Mixed: hopes Keekaroo improves as baby grows.
