We use the Dr Browns water warmer!!! Warm water on TAPPPP!!! I wish I had this with our first… bottles are made in less than 30 seconds lol. Absolutely game changing!!
Enthusiastic ('game changing', triple exclamation); bottles ready in under 30 seconds; wishes they had it for first child; very strong endorsement
I love my Dr Browns bottle warmer. I know a lot of people say no to the bottle warmer and the sanitizer but they are god sends for me.
Loves it, calls it a 'god send'; highly upvoted (12); acknowledges skeptics but strong personal endorsement
We use the Dr browns milk spa. Perfect milk temperature every time. You can set it to the type of bottle (or bag) and how many ounces. Bottle is never hot to take out but milk is somehow always great. It takes a good 6 min to heat up 4-5 ounces from the fridge.
Well-upvoted; 'perfect temperature every time'; specific features (bottle/bag type, oz settings); notes bottle stays cool to touch; 6 min for 4-5oz from fridge
Dr Brown's. I've used that and an avent one and the Dr Brown's is so much better.
Used both Dr Brown's and Avent; finds Dr Brown's 'so much better'; direct comparative endorsement; well-upvoted
Dr. Browns milk spa! I love it. Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow MilkSPA Breastmilk and Bottle Warmer with Even and Consistent Warming https://a.co/d/fhtQihs
Loves it enough to share the Amazon link; enthusiastic endorsement of the MilkSPA model
Happy with the simple Dr Browns one, just got a second for the upstairs.
Happy enough to buy a second unit for upstairs; well-upvoted (7); strong implicit endorsement through repeat purchase
Everyone's got valid points about the boiling water in a cup trick or other reasons it's not necessary. I agree but I also didn't care myself and was happy to spend $50 for a convenience boost. Dr Brown version is legit, heats up 2-3oz in a glass bottle much faster than the cheaper ones (2ish min vs 5+) which is a huge deal when your other hand has a screaming and hungry child. It also sanitizes (not super efficient only fitting a single bottle) so you have that available. I use glass Phill
Calls it 'legit'; cites specific speed (2-3oz in ~2 min vs 5+ for cheaper ones); notes $50 price, sanitizer function; practical positive with concrete comparisons
We use ours every time. Did with first kiddo too (I EP for first and now the second). Drop bottle in, hit button. Go change diaper, three minutes later good to go. Our kiddos have not responded well to cold milk though I know it works for some. Have given fresh milk at near room temp with no problem though. If you get a warmer I recommend completely draining it and washing water tank to prevent mold once a week (we have a doctor brown model).
Uses for 2 kids while exclusively pumping; describes workflow (drop in, hit button, 3 min during diaper change); provides maintenance tip (drain weekly to prevent mold)
I have the Dr. Browns bottle warmer and it's definitely worth it. $30 and takes about a minute to warm up the bottle to room temp from the fridge. But I'm not sure what bottles it works with, we use exclusively Dr. Browns.
Owns it, 'definitely worth it'; cites price ($30) and speed (~1 min from fridge); caveat about bottle compatibility unknown beyond Dr Browns brand
Ive used both the philips and dr browns. Philips is definitely the most basic option and is super easy, but I did like how the dr browns doubled as a sterilizer. I used that one more often.
Used both Philips and Dr Browns; preferred Dr Browns more often because it doubles as sterilizer; practical comparative positive
Honestly i just I take a bottle out of the fridge and put it on my bed side table (my baby doesn't sleep longer then 4 hours) and feed it room temp in the motn. During the day I use a bottle warmer. It takes 3 mins for 3.5oz at fridge temp in the dr browns. The plus side is if you have a bottle warmer you don't need to fill every time you just press the button… and refill the tank about once a day.
Specific timing (3 min for 3.5oz from fridge); describes convenience of water tank (press button, refill once/day); practical detailed review
100% yes to the bottle warmer! Like others commenting, we used Dr. Brown's and it is great. Just actually listen to the directions about not using tap water cuz it made ours gross.
Uses Dr Brown's and calls it 'great'; provides specific maintenance tip (don't use tap water or it gets gross); positive with practical caveat
I like our bottle warmer. We got the Dr. Brown one. We're Still using it and my sons almost 2. I just transfer it to a different cup for him now. It takes ~4 mins
Still using at almost 2 years old (extended durability); repurposed for toddler cups; takes ~4 min
I bought the Dr Browns one. It was inexpensive and it works well.
Bought it; notes both price (inexpensive) and performance (works well); straightforward positive
We have the dr browns for downstairs and baby brezza water warmer for upstairs. Warm water on demand is a game changer for nighttime feedings.
Uses Dr Browns for downstairs as part of multi-warmer setup; implies satisfaction since they kept it despite adding Baby Brezza upstairs
We have the Dr Browns Milkspa and are happy with it. It's not super fast, but I like that you can be more precise with all the settings: glass, plastic, or bag + room temp, refrigerated, or frozen + number of ounces. It makes me more confident that it won't overheat the milk. That being said, we only started heating milk in a desperate attempt at anything to reduce gas and getting baby to gain weight. I doubt it helped at all in that regard, but we're all used to it now. If your baby will take i
Happy with it; appreciates precision settings (glass/plastic/bag, temp state, ounces); acknowledges not super fast but confidence in not overheating; balanced positive
I have the Dr Browns and while it's not the best, I find it's relatively fast which matters more to me. It doesn't warm the milk that much (but from all the reviews I read that's pretty typical or on the flip side people find it makes the milk too hot). My LO has just gotten use to eating slightly chilled milk since I'd rather it be that then have to wait for it to cool.
Owns it, finds it 'not the best' but 'relatively fast'; notes inconsistent heating (either too cold or too hot); accepts compromise of slightly chilled milk
My first baby I used the Dr browns and dreaded hearing her cries while the milk was heating. My second baby gets straight from the fridge breastmilk and is happier to get her milk more quickly. She doesn't mind at all that it's cold. When she ate overnight I was happier to go back to sleep sooner!
Used Dr Browns with first baby but 'dreaded' the wait while baby cried; abandoned warming entirely for second baby; negative experience led to behavior change
I have Dr Brown bottle warmer, because I got the whole set with bottles. Anyway very easy to use, but bottle becomes too hot and I have to put in iced water to cool off a bit or wait. Also I hate that it develops a brown residues on the bottom and it's hard to clean. Honestly I started warming up bottles in a cup with a boiling water
Easy to use but bottle gets too hot, requires ice water to cool; hard-to-clean brown residue; abandoned it for hot water cup method
Do not get the Dr. Browns deluxe bottle warmer and sterilizer. We previously liked the Dr. Browns milk spa and thought this would be a newer better version, boy were we wrong. Cons - poor heating, milk still cold despite turning up setting - terrible handle design- bottle is too hot to grab and the handle that they have is on the inside so that is also hot to grab. Not ideal for middle of the night where you have one hand - requires lots of water refill - designed with gravity so when you r
Detailed negative review of the Deluxe model specifically: poor heating, dangerous handle design, frequent water refills; previously liked the MilkSPA so this is about the newer model
Definitely don't get Dr Brown. Terrible all around. We have a baby brezza now and it's better but still not 5 stars. I need a sou vae style bottle warmer (or however you spell it). Heat to X temp consistently and quickly lol
Explicitly warns 'definitely don't get Dr Brown' and calls it 'terrible all around'; switched to Baby Brezza
Dr browns scolded my hand sleep deprived with a 2 week old infant with colic. I hate those things so much. They are so dangerous
Scalded hand while sleep deprived with newborn; calls them 'dangerous'; strong negative safety concern; well-upvoted
